Anne has been with us since we opened and has always been a strong leader/teacher for some of our less experienced staff! She is our Certified Veterinary Technician and has been working with animals for over 10 years. She graduated from ODU in '97 and completed the Online Vet Tech Program in '05 from Northern VA Community College. While originally from Norfolk, Virginia she now calls Northampton County home. She has 2 beautiful children, Kelley & Carl, with her husband of 12 years, Pete, whom she likes to refer to as her third child! They have over 60 pets total!! In addition to their dogs, Rommel & Charlie, and newest kittens Hannah & C.C., they also have a horse named Harley, a pig named Piglet, and an entire herd of goats! When she's not working, she loves spending time with her children and raising goats. Beth started with us in spring of 2012 and we couldn't imagine her not being here! She has over 13 years of experience as a veterinary technician. She's originally from Morgantown, West Virginia and after moving several times settled in Roanoke Rapids. She's been married to her adoring husband Gene for 14 years and has 5 wonderful children, Jacquelyn, Jacob, Jessica, Samantha, and Amanda. Gene always has the best stories and keeps us all laughing when he stops by to visit. She is also a proud Grandmother of three. She has 4 dogs, 1 cat, 2 birds (including JoJo, who used to live at Creekside), and 2 hermit crabs. When she's not at work or spending time with her children she enjoys hiking and camping, although admits that she doesn't get to do it nearly as much as she'd like!Jessica started with us when we opened as a veterinary assistant and has recently started making the transition to assistant manager. She enjoys having many tasks on her plate, but more importantly, loves coming to Creekside to be with her "work family". She has been married to her amazing husband, Jason, since October 2012 and they have 3 fur children, Oakley & Heidi (their couch-potato dogs), and Brody (Jasons working K-9 partner). She calls Fayetteville, NC home but has now settled into Halifax County life. She graduated from NC State in 2008 and will always bleed WOLFPACK RED!! She's also a Cleveland Browns & Indians fan, and yes, she loves them even in the worst of times (which is a lot). In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, reading, and of course, cheering on the Wolfpack!Faye was here before there was even a brick in place! She's our main front desk admin as well as our resident fish tank caretaker. The fish tank would not be what it is today if it wasn't for her daily care and devotion. She was born and raised here in Roanoke Rapids and has been married to her soul mate, Eddie, for over 31 years. We have found that Miss Faye is either kin to, when to school with, or somehow knows just about everyone that comes through our doors! The days go by quickly when she gets to telling us her stories of growing up in her wild family. Outside of work, you can find Faye weight training at New Day Fitness, watching her husband race (Circle Track Racing #99!!) at Clary's Speedway, and cheering on her favorite Nascar driver Jimmie Johnson. Lynne was hired in August 2012 as one of our front desk receptionist and we have loved having her here! She loves getting to be one of the first people to love on all the fur-babies as they come in! She has been married to her husband and best friend, Ronny, for 33 years and they have one amazing daughter Jordan and 2 furry children, Lexy & Bailey. She graduated from Louisburg College and the Maria Parham School of Medical Technology. This has been her first time working in the animal field but she has enjoyed learning new things and of course, getting to see all the cute babies that visit us. She is originally from Warrenton but now calls Littleton home. When she's not working she enjoys reading, gardening, shopping, and taking care of her home. Shelly was the newest addition to our front desk staff in November 2012 but she quickly became part of our Creekside family. Working in a vets office was new to her but she has always loved animals. Most days you will find her doing her work with a recovering surgery patient or freshly groomed fur baby in her lap. She has been married to Freddie for 24 years and they have 2 beautiful daughters, Brittany & Brooke. A woman of many talents, we recently discovered her talent for making flowers out of coffee filters for her oldest daughters wedding! She has 5 dogs, Buddie, Chester, Penelope, Mama Girl, and Max. She calls Richmond, VA her hometown but now lives in Littleton. She's an Indianapolis Colts & UVA girl and also enjoys watching Dale Jr. & Kevin Harvick race! In her spare time she loves shopping, cleaning, and being with her family, pets, and friends. Meagan has been working with us part time since fall of 2012. She mostly splits her time between the front desk and working in the kennel but she occasionally gets pulled in to help as a vet assistant. She has 2 furry children, Diesel & Shiloh, who are wild and crazy together! She is currently enrolled at Halifax Community College in the Medical Lab Technology field and is graduating in May 2014. Between school, clinicals, and working here she says she has no spare time!! But she does enjoy watching movies and being with her family, pets, and close friends. She would also like to confess she has an obsession with her adorable niece, Paisley Grey!!April has been grooming here since October 2011 and she's behind all of these beautiul/handsome babies you see walking out of our doors!! She has 7 years of grooming experience and works hard to cut your babies just the way you like. She's our newest married woman as of May 2013 to her awesome (and according to April, lucky) husband Paul. She has 2 step children Kierstan & Brody, and 3 pets Magic, Mayhem, and Cupid. Their newest addition will be making an appearance in September 2014!! She's originally from Emporia and still calls it home today. She graduated with an Associates Degree in Business from Southside Virginia Community College. When she doesn't have clippers in her hands she enjoys spending time with her family & friends (including the furry ones)!!Holly's been here since the beginning! She is our kennel assistant jack of all trades and we couldn't do it without her! She spends her days up to her elbows (and sometimes from head to toe) in shampoo and flying fur when she's bathing, blow drying, and brushing out dogs (and sometimes kitties too!) but also takes care of all the boarders first thing in the morning. She's been married to her devoted husband Lynn for 22 years and they have 2 amazing children, Caitlyn & Donnie. Their furry trio includes 2 pomeranians, Copper & Raven, and 1 very rambunctious dachshund, Tummy. Holly graduated from Virginia Tech and proudly supports them today, "GO HOKIES"! If she has spare time she loves being outside gardening, hiking, and camping. Before coming to Creekside she was a forester with the US Forest Service for 15 years and we LOVE listening to her "This one time we were fighting a fire..." stories!!!Megan started helping Miss April on grooming days in the spring of 2013. Since then she has transitioned into an all-around kennel technician and loves spending time with the boarding babies! Most day's you'll find her bent over the bath tub shampooing your fur babies or manning the blow dryer in the groom room. She graduated high school in 2010 and is currently attending classes at Halifax Community College. She hopes to transfer to Old Dominion University and become a Forensic Psychologist. She has 7 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 hamsters. In her spare time she enjoys playing volleyball, softball, and watching UNC play. Stacy started with us as a kennel assistant in August 2013 as a volunteer for one of her classes and we loved her so much we couldn't let go! She is in the Roanoke Valley Early College program and will graduate in May with her High School Diploma and her 2-year Associates Degree. In her future she forsees lots and lots of college!! She hopes to attend NC State or UNC Chapel Hill next year. She has one dog named Snowball. Her favorite hobbies include reading and watching "Dr. Who" like there's no tomorrow!!Gail was signed on as our Business Manager before we were even a business! She splits her time between Creekside and Little & Jenkins Rebuilders (but secretly loves us more!). She's been married to her handsome husband John for 25 years. Between them they have 3 sons, Kevin, Chris, and Alan and 3 daughters-in-laws, Emily, Eileen, and Crysal, and 2 adorable grandchildren. They have 2 furry kids, Chewie & Little Man. Originally born and raised in Weldon she now lives on Lake Gaston. In her spare time she loves hanging out at the lake and boating with her husband and their yorkies!Louis is our resident kennel kitty. He's slowly getting used to being an office cat and has recently taken on the job of "catching mice", the kind that are attatched to computers (3 to be exact so far!). You can find him lounging on Dr. E's couch with Mimi or stalking his prey (the staff) from far atop the cabinets. He also makes regular facebook appearances in our "Where's Louis?" segment. Mimi is Creekside's mascot and Dr. E's BABY!! She is "the most beautiful Golden Retriever in the whole wide world" according to Dr. E and Mimi knows it! She's one spoiled girl as is apparent by her numerous collars, regular Creekside spa days, and themed photo shoots!!! She also happens to be one of the best cuddlers there is after a long day of work. For all her hard work being a mascot she requires payment in cookies & ear rubs.
